Unemployment Insurance Benefits
The agency in charge of Unemployment Insurance is the Department of Public Safety, you can find a FAQ on unemployment benefits here and apply here, guidance on how to apply is here.

Assistance

Arizona Together has resources on employment and financial assistance, housing and homeowner support, food and meals, and healthcare.

Utility and Internet Assistance

An agreement has been announced between Arizona’s largest electric utilities (including the Arizona Public Service), to ensure that no customer will have their power turned off due to inability to pay for the remainder of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

A large number of internet service providers have committed to not terminating service for any residence or small business because of inability to pay due to COVID-19, as well as waiving late fees for those with COVID-19 economic circumstances.

Job Training Assistance

The Arizona Commerce Authority has gathered free and low cost job training opportunities here.

Expanded Paid Sick and Family Medical Leave

Some employers are being required to offer or expand paid sick leave and family medical leave by the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA or Act). More information is available here.

There is information on tax credits available to small businesses being required to provide family and medical leave here.

Schools

The Arizona Department of Education has put together resources for school leaders, teachers, and families as well as guidelines and considerations for reopening schools.

Coconino County

Coconino County Health Department is administering testing, you can find information here. The county also has resources to assist with rent, food, and other resources, the application is here.

There is a coalition of service providers that can assist with needs that list is here. There are also resources for employees and employers. Job seekers can find assistance here.

Yavapai County

Yavapai County has a resource page including guidelines for reopening and guidance for cleaning and reopening here. A website has been set up to help Yavapai employees and employers.

Gila County

Gila County has a resource page with information on a halt to evictions, and a rural resource guide.

Navajo County

Navajo county has public health information available here. The Navajo County COVID-19 resource page has resources for employees, employers, and mental health.
